Each Host has one SSH connection and no Heeler server in between; a row moves only when herdr reports the agent's next status (usually Working), never because the app set it. The heeler plugin on each macOS or Linux Host pushes every change through a stateless Push Relay to that Host's Live Activity, and once you leave the app, Blocked and Done also arrive as encrypted alerts; the relay sees counts, never names. After a 20 s grace SSH closes; coming back connects again and loads a fresh inventory.
